The citadel parka from canada goose is a heavy weight jacket that goes down to the thigh area. Please ignore the bad reviews i simply couldn t fault the service and help i recieved. Frankly i don t wear these jackets enough to really figure out the difference because when i go skiing i layer up because that allows me to get exactly the right heat level for the temperature outside.

Weighing in at 4 pounds 9 ounces the canada goose expedition parka is the most substantial and bulkiest jacket in our winter jacket review. As a brand it was established in 1957 by sam tick a polish immigrant. The construction of the canada goose jacket seems more rugged and sturdy. I have a 30 year old standard jacket that cost 100 and it is far superior to the canada goose product.

The only thing i would comment on is that the navy is darker than i expected showing more like a muted black. Walking through the bitter cold in montreal everywhere my parka is covering is much warmer than the rest of me. So i sent my coat back under the warranty after inspection the canada goose team went above and beyond to get me a replacement jacket. Jacket perfectly clean if they charge for dry cleaning i ll be even more annoyed.

Big thank you to nils silvia and elisabeth for the highest quality of customer service i have recieved ever from a brand. I bought it as i wanted to use it for minimum 4 5 years especially that i payed 1500 now and i cannot use it in winter. Small fits me perfectly even has a little extra room.
