Scrape the frozen gum from carpet gently using a spoon or dull knife. Pick and pull gently to remove fibers. Apply heat from the hair dryer to soften the gum. Put the bag of ice directly onto the gum stain.

To ensure the stain doesn t last take a sponge and dip it in a cleaning fluid. This will harden the gum making it easier to take out. Place a few handfuls of ice in a zip lock bag. Step 4 apply dry cleaning fluid to a clean cloth.
